Anyone had this installed in Richmond VA recently?

I got few prices from shops in town and cheapest was $800 for head unit, ipod cable, GXM 30, bluetooth, backup camera, steering wheel controls, and DD conversion. That is just for labor using OEM Bose system as I have all the parts needed.

Is that reasonable? Sounds crazy to me!

Anyone have any recommendations for good shops in town?

I can't recommend any in your area, but I got quoted $260 for all that except backup camera and steering wheel controls, but with front speaker installation, amp, sub.

 

Just do it your self. It's a labor charge of zero, or how ever you want to reward yourself plus the huge feeling of satisfaction of doing it yourself. If you don't know how search around the forums here, my350z and 6mt, if questions are still unanswered..ask me and I'll do my best to help

 

Try Best Buy. Sometimes they have good installers. They charge $200 to install the radio.
