Alpine 6.5"typeR installed!
installed my alpine type R
took me about 3 hrs to install
first door was the longest then the other side is easy
the parts that took most time is to install the 6.5" speaker
cos it need to be space so that it won't hit window
the other part is to take off the door's titanium handle piece

Cool.. My car is in the install shop for the next couple of days. How do you like the sound of the speakers, and did you run an amp to them? (I went with the same speakers) I heard them demo'd and they sounded great even with no amp (although I went with an amp).

i am not running any amp right now..

i got the MRV-F540 for these speakers!
sure it will sound nice!
