When sitting in traffic I've tried using the Traffic Detour option on the Nav system. But everytime I've tried it all I ever get is a message saying that it could not figure out a detour based on our current location.

Has anyone got this option to work? Am I doing something wrong?

 

My Garmin does that sometimes as well. I think you're running into a problem where the only route to your destination is the one you are on. That's what I figured out after I got to my destination (home) and google mapped my route.
