a question about yoshi's dashkit shipping
 

once the package arrives into the US, how is it shipped? USPS express mail right? which is next day (overnight)? Im curious, because im very excited about my dashkit...

rambo already told me his package was shipped USPS express mail... so thats overnight... I really hope it comes today!!! So i can put my dash back together... so excited, i waited almost a month for it to come!!!! this sure will pay off...

thanks to all you for your help on how to go about ordering the dashkit!

hehe when i got mine last week i was so geeked!

Yeah mine was sent USPS express overnight from Chicago to Detroit.
So yours will go from San Fran to TX overnight.

yea, but i have no AC for a month cause i sold my radio LOL. good thing i have another car to drive. even though its an ugly car, its still a car. oh well.

Put one of those 6" clip fans that truckers use that plug into the cigarette lighter and clip it to the navi cubby door. That should keep you cool until you get your dash parts. lol....

You could put some LEDs on the clip fan to rice it up.....

Yeah - let's create a ghetto-mobile....

On another subject, I finally have all of my parts, so I plan on putting this puppy together this week(end). A shop here in Dallas will install the AMP and make the sub-box for the trunk. I CAN'T wait to hear the new system rock, baby!!!!!!

I got a Boston Acoustic 10.5LF for the box. I'm also putting in a Viper 791XV 2-way transponder alarm system. Talk about bad-@$$. :) I'll try and take as many pics as I can along the way... but of course, I don't plan on re-inventing joepaniolo's wheel for the DIY guide.

I need to submit my wife to that show..... fo sho! EEK! :) Shhhhh.... I'll get as many "new" pics as I can. Man, I hate to tear her apart (the car, that is), but she'll be happy when I'm done if I don't screw up her insides.... ha ha. That don't sound too good if you read it wrong. lol

WOOHOO! just got an email from Yoshi that hes got my stuff. Now 10 more days till its at my door. i cant wait!
anybody know if theres a DIY on how to install a speaker amp and sub amp...running the wires and stuff i mean.

nuttyprof, shouldnt take 10 days from japan, only took me like 3-4 days to get hear from japan, and took rambo only 3 days... so you won't have to wait 10 days, for the DIY guides, there are 2 excellent ones on here already, use joe's guide for installing the dashkit and use nyc35;s guide to install your amps in the trunk, very excellent guides...

thanks man. i already took apart my dash and its all ready to put in the new one. im gonna look for the amp install DIY now.
