The Double Din kit you are looking at is the Metra Kit. You should save up and get the authentic JDM kit. The finish on the Metra kit is cheap and unlike the JDM DD kit it does not retain a stock feel to the vehicles interior.

The last part you listed is used to get a signal to use the radio. It is the Nissan antenna adapter.extension which is needed becasue the OEM is not long enought to reach the aftermarket unit. However you don't need to pay 40.00 when you can buy this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...=p4506.c0.m245

and get the correct wire harness:

Good luck and see I just saved you 25.00+ so you can go buy the steering wheel controls to use with your aftermarket headunit!

No Navi on the HU?

You should be able to grab the antenna adapter and wire harness at a circuit city or whatever. It was pretty cheap. I too would stay away from the cheap metra kit, the extra 100 bucks is so worth it. I got my JDM kit on this site in the Marketplace for $250 shipped.

Pac makes the steering wheel controls.

You might wanna grab some decent door speakers cause the factory ones suck ***.

Actually, the antenna adapter is needed because the Nissan antenna plug has two prongs and the adapter converts it to a regular male antenna plug to connect to the aftermarket radio. The Nissan antenna plug will not physically plug into an aftermarket unit.

Not to be a d!ck, but read some of the threads in this section, especially the stickies, and you will find the answers you seek. Then come back and ask the harder questions.

With the dash kit. Can the stock radio bracket be used or is the one on the stock radio and the DD unit different?

I used the factory one on my Kenwood. You may have to make new holes or make it a slot.

I was looking for antenna adapters and some say they disable/enable diversity functions, what does that mean?
