i just hooked my capacitor to stop the lights from dimming and i got Jl 1000/1 amp and 12inch sub but anyway i hooked the cap up using 12guage wire and using 4guage wire for the amp and the lights and numbers are running on the cap but somehow my lights are still dimming and its a 5 farad cap...what could be the problem????

How did you connect the cap to the amp and use 12 gauge wire?

 

well i got my 4guage wire from the amp and jus connect the fuse to the cap and use a 8guage or 12 forgot..and use the other end of the 8guage and connect that to my amp..
