I just installed pac aai nis 2 as instruction to able to play audio from my dvd player through factory Nav screen. However, the audio is not working through the Sat button as it instructs me to do so. I already check all my wires, they are fine and i noticed that every time i change from sat 1 to sat 2 there is little click sound inside pac unit
Is anyone who installed this unit has the same problem? Do i have to activate my sirus to able to work with pac unit?
another thing my sat keep show me the id number on sat.

I just installed mine about two weeks ago and had the same problem with the audio. I had an ipod connected and no audio. Believe it or not, I needed to raise the audio in the ipod. I dont know if this will help but maybe the DVD player volume is set low and you need to raise it. Basically raise all your volume controls. If thats not it, then something is wrong with your connections.

 

same thing happened with my set-up. I didn't install it myself so I encountered this problem until one day I noticed the volume too low. Messed around with the iPod and that fixed it.

When I installed mine I got nothing at first. Turned the car off, back on again and it worked fine.

 

i call pac customer service this morning, they told me to get a new one and it works right after i installed the new one.thanks for your comment guys.
Another thing for someone who want to get the new pac niss 2, the guy at pac store told me there are a lot defected unit lately so test them before buy it unless you dont mind to waste your time on your car

 

does this make any sense or is it just me?
