XM Newb question

Not entirely sure about the XM side of the car audio world as I have never done an XM install before--
I'll be doing my z1 install sometime soon and assume that all I need to go with my Z1 is a GEX-P920 XM? I currently have a subscription to XM and assume I can use the existing antenna?

What exactly is the process to switch my current XM subscription over to my new setup?

Any help is appreciated.

You will need whatever Pioneed XM tuner works with your Z1. You may be able to use the existing antenna if it has the same connectors. There are different connectors as antennas and tuners have evolved. Antenna adapters may also work.

To switch XM over, call XM and tell them you want to switch over. Have the new ID ready. You may be able to do it online.

Looks like the OEM XM antenna from our vehicles will work with the Pioneer unit, now I'm just concerned about cable length. As I remember, the Xm unit is in the trunk by the Bose amp, and I'll be wanting to try and squeeze both a 500/1 and 300/4 in that space.
