It's been talked about but I haven't seen any pics. It can definitely be done but why? Just for looks? If so, then go for it. Your money would be better spent doing the dash conversion and installing a flip up monitor there.

Almost forgot.....imho.

i dont really like the flip-up because it blocks the a/c controls, but i'll think about it...

Oh yeah, I know what you're saying. When I mentioned that to someone they said they were going to mount it on the lower part of the double din housing so when it flipped up it wouldn't be in the way.

other than $$$, whats wrong with putting it there?? too close?
another question, what do people do with monitors? watch dvd's? navi? video games? i think its cool to have, but logically speaking, why even have them??? especially in a sports-car... i'll probably watch sponge-bob in mines! ; )

I had one in the passenger side vanity mirror of my old Grand Cherokee. The sunshade wouldn't go all the way up anymore. I wouldn't recommend putting a screen there. It was cool at the time (1998) but I think you could do better now. And if you don't have navigation, that cubby is just asking to be used for something like a screen.

i guess i'll spend the $2k somewhere else.. like ings +1 body kit probably...
