DD install, now ac doesnt work right (cant reply to sticky)

I bought the metra kit for my 04 sedan

kit fits well and no problems with fitment

my problem is that my ac controlls will not respond to temp up and down

fan speed, ac off/on, mode, etc all work. Everything but the temp up and down

The kit has a dual climate button but I didnt hsve that as a factory option, could tht have something to do with it?

I also read the sticky about the ac harness. My harness is plugged in all the way and I cant see any problems with it, is thier something im missing with the harness?

thanks

Make sure the air intake sensor (a tube and clip) are connected. They are on the right side of the plastic panel beneath the steering wheel.

I was reading in the sticky about ,the ac controlls, that metra sometimes sends the ac controlls out with a jumper wire.

Im going to check this out when I get home....in 9 hours....

I know this thread is old but I'm having the same problem and notice that there is a clip and tube that is not connected but can't seem to find where to contect them to.

Here are some pictures.

Gilley helped me figure it out.

Looks like the sensor that the tube and wire connect to is completely gone. No wonder I couldn't find it. It looks like it was broken off and never put back. Back to the shop tomorrow and see what the installer says.
