AVElectronic vdeo not quite right.

I just had my AV Electronic installed with a DVD player. The FM-Modulated audio I can deal with but the video seems poor. There seems to be a light/dark interlace all the way down the screen. I thought it was the cheap DVD player but I upgraded that today and it's the same. Could it be a problem with the install. Maybe the ground is not right or something? Anybody else experience this or should I take it back to the installer?

It's a ground problem. It's happened before.

Thanks. I guess that would explain the engine noise as well. What exactly is the fix? Just finding a better place for the ground?
