All Gauges using factory LCD - Project Research

Anyone installed a solution like this?

For my sleeper project this little unit uses your factory navi screen or any lcd to display ALL your vitals, AF, boost, etc etc. When I get my APS kit I dont want gauges all over the place, want an OEM+ type car.

I know I need to start with..
1. Navigation Video/Camera Interface is $250.00 (2 video inputs, second input can be use for automatic backup camera). www.AVElectronic.com

Then choose one of these...

Looks like HKS has an option too..

Who dun it or am I the 1st with this idea(doubt it)?

And found this, but its all in japanese prob not a well supported solution..

A lot of members here have a similar setup using Camp2 or other solutions.

Ok do you know that u can connect the Audio Out of the HKS Camp2 to the OEM Nav input on the Bose Headunit ? check it out on the FSM its on the A/V Manual, search for Navi Input+ and Navi Input- 32,30 on M39 Harness so just hook the Left Audio the White RCA with these Pins and BINGO u can hear the Warning while listening to the Music just like how the stock Nav voice Guidance Plays over the Music the only Draw Back with ur project now is the Resolution of the Stock Nav Screen its not the Best out there but at least u can see what is happening

for the camp2 install

i was look at the wiring and clip (m57) has two wires one called navi-disp rx pin-out 35, and navi disp tx pin-out 33. at the display unit (plug m35) the same two wires are there are the navi switch (plug m37) and navi control unit (plug m57). if this could work what im thinking is to maybe cut a switch in to go from one source like the nav to the other video source.

KP technologies has his running this way on his personal G. He is the one that makes all the moduals for our cars ie:roll up modual, electronic beep, reverse mirror tilt, etc.
There was a thread in the Forced Induction section about Gauges and the locations on turbo builds. He posted his in that section. (using my blackberry at work or I would find and post the link...)
