I just purchased the 7998 and I can't get a CD disk to play. Everything else works fine except the CD. I had the same problem with another Alpine unit and I had to press the DAP button to get the CD to play. I am pretty versed in car stereo installations and did the whole install in my G35 sedan myself. I think I have something wired wrong. Can someone give me the wiring specs for the alpine-to-g35 harness? I ran power from the battery and the ground to ground rack in the trunk. I am not sure where the red wire and the blue wire hooks up in the car. Thanks for any help.
