dvd conversion confusion : (

i've been trying to search the forum about the dvd tuner conversion and am a little confused about the options and such. i understand there are two dvd tuner conversion units available now, right? can anyone tell me the differences between the two. also, in purchasing the separate dvd player, is there one that someone recommends that can installed in a convenient location and provide good quality picture?

also, with the tv tuner option, how's the picture when watching tv? any help would be greatly appreciated : )

IF you have navigation, there is the AVelectronic tv tuner, which will allow you to watch tv on your stock nav screen, you can also hook up a dvd player to it. Pm IksardarG, he sells them and gives good deals. As for the dvd player i am also looking for a good one. Name brand dvd players are the safest route IMO.

Thanks Gm126:
GunMetal is right. Name brand units will seemingly have better construction, durability and warranties as well. You will pay a little bit more for a unit with a name-brand - but my experiences in the past shows that this pays for itself.

Put in a PS2. Good movies and you have the option to play games if you want.
