with the vast amount of gadgets and toys available today, what would you install if you could get rid of the bose speakers and head unit and dvd rom and screen, the reason i ask is you guys are the real experts and i have only just started looking into the idea, so far ive decided i like the idea of twin din dvd, amp in trunk floor, custom trunk sub box, ipod coffin in the armrest, single din dvd player inplace of dvd rom and a nice flashy touchscreen, i live in the uk so the only real advance in technology has been hunits being made for ipod, i have no idea what homelink is on your rear view mirrors or i have no idea what sirrus is, only just discovered car puters,
can anyone enlighten me on todays gadgets, i have a lot of music about a terrabyte does anyone make headunits with hdd that can store that or can u hook up a external hdd to these USB wires on some modern head units,

i am looking to splash the cash, i will get a top end hunit, but speakers and amps and subs and stuff i will get middle range equipment, i guess i just need some guidance any ideas appreciated thanks
