Stinger. Pyramid is a crap brand and more than likely it wont have as many strands.

^ + 100000000000 on that! I HATE pyramid!

Stinger is head and shoulders a better product. Good luck!

of the two Stinger for sure. Also take a look at http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMa...ossus%20Kable#

I've used this stuff lately and it's good quality at a good price. Their fuse blocks are really nice.

wire is wire. some people even use welding cable, it works fine as long as you can deal with trying to bend that sob!

Not necessarily. Welding cable is also different than car audio wire in that 1/0 wire is NOT the same size 1/0 from a good car audio brand. You would need 3/0, probably 2/0 of welding wire to amount to car audio 1/0. Welding cable 4/0 is thicker.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, the jackets or sleeves on the wire make the wire appear thicker when really there may be less strands. There is also speaker wire that is pure silver, which is the best to go with, but highly expensive and nobody really will be able to tell and audible difference.

As far as power and ground wires go, Kicker uses tinned copper. Some companies use aluminum I believe, which is not as good of a conductor as copper. Copper vs tinned copper makes no difference in this case since the wire is not expose to oxygen. If it were bare and exposed then the copper can rust and the tinned copper would be a better choice. I've used 4 gauge kicker wire and compared it to some walmart brand 4 gauge and there was a noticeable difference in size.

I have a picture somewhere that shows various 1/0 wires and their sizes right next to each other. Once I find it I will post it.
