Hey Whats Up Guys,

Arrite im on the market for a DD head unit but have no clue what to buy. I want something with navigation and probably under $1000. Been looking at Pioneer, Alpine, Eclipse, Kenwood, and a few other brands. My top choice right now is the Pioneer AVIC-D3.

Now what do you guys suggest? Please add any suggestions im open to anything! I'm looking to buy a quality product and something that will look great in the G!!

there are headunits for every application... are you looking for a fantastic overall all-in-one headunit? are you looking at best screen quality? are you looking for best audio tuning? best nav system? best ipod interface? there's SOOO many different decks for each of those applications.
I personally have a kenwood 8019. for it's 5V preout and did most of my tuning at the amps. I have the factory nav that I hardly use so that wasn't even an option when I was deciding.

 

TroysG, thanks for all the info man i really had no idea there was so many options to choose from! I am mainly looking for best nav, and ipod interface something that is sharp looking with a quick operating system.
