just finished installing my stereo...
installed hidden GEX sirius brain, JDM kit and AVIC d1, two four channel amps, two MB Quart 12" subs, Focal components,and all associated wiring.
focals are totally hidden, i was even able to modify the stock tweeter bracket to hold the new focal tweeters. required making spacers to accomadate the woofers massive magnets, THAT was a pain. I'm planning to change out the subwoofers for tens or maybe just one 12 in a more compact box, and get a set of OEM woofers for midbase in the rear panels.
On a semi related note, this was my first time really tearing apart the G. I have to say I am REALLY impressed with it. i remember when i was working on my friends maxima, and it's just night and day. although everything was a lot more involved and complicated, moreso than i thought it would be, i wasn't constantly asking myself WHY?!?!?!, like i have with many of my previous cars.

as promised, here are the pics... as i said the focals are totally hidden, so there isn't much to see there, and i was in a rush to get it done(none heated garage in MA in nov. will do that) so there are no install pics to be seen.
the AVIC and the JDM kit and the obnoxtious gap at the bottom... thinking about getting my friend to do some fiberglassing for me now...

the bump takes up too much of my trunk. amps and subs are probably being relocated and replaced by a 4080 or some such solution. i hate the lack of space.
