which ipod?

which ever one fits your needs price wise (they run $50 for the Shuffle on up to $400 for the largest Touch) and capacity wise (from 1GB for smallest Shuffle to 120GB for Classic). you find find specs and the details about the 4 different ipods versions over at Apple.com.
the differences being physical size, capacity, price, and other bells-and-whistles. essentially they all work the same. you install iTunes (get it from Apple.com), rip music from your CDs or purchase/download it from iTunes, sync music files from iTunes to the iPod, connect it to your car and enjoy the tunes.
but, you'll need to figure out how to connect it to your car. depending on what G you have (coupe or sedan and what year), how you want to control the iPod (or iPhone) and your budget - your options will be different. answer those and i can provide more details on that topic.

Thanks man
I was going to buy a nano but wanted to make sure it would work in my car first. I plan on suing the usaspec adapter, seems like that's the way to go from what I've read on here.
Oh one more thing...do you have to but music from itunes? Can't you just download from limewire to pc then onto the ipod? Probably a really dumb question but I've been out of car audio for a while lol
My car is an 03 coupe with the bose system. It has a satalite button but I don't have the service.
Thanks again!

sort of like asking which beer is "the best"...all depends on what you like.
they each have their own pros and cons and everyone is going to have their own opinion on which is best for their specific purpose.
how much do you want to spend? do you have factory SAT? do you want steering wheel and/or HU controls? where do you want the ipod mounted/stored while in use?

for anyone else that might come across this thread in the future:
this is a VERY common question around here - and i recently had it too a month or so ago when i was looking for a way to connect my iPod/iPhone to my 07 Coupe.
there are 3 main solutions:
1. PAC (AAI-NIS2)
2. USA Spec (PAII-NIS)
3. Nissan iPod Interface Kit
each have their distinct pros/cons, features and price - you'll have to do the research and decide which works best for you.
check out my site myG35mods.com for an Auxiliary Input Adapter Comparison Chart that highlights the specs of all of them to help with your decision.
this is just from my personal research - i make no guarantees of accuracy.
