Wiring Help...!

Okay guys, I just wanted some confirmation/suggestions before I install my wiring later this weekend. I'm going to run 2 gauge wire from the battery to the rear to a distrubution block in the rear. I plan to run it along the driver's side by the door, just like in the DIY by nycg35. I'm going to keep the stock HU for now.

1) Where should I tap the remote wire in? Is there anywhere in the rear pre- or post- Bose amp? I'm trying not to disassemble my front dash if possible.

2) I've done research and discovered that my JL Audio 500/1 amp does not need a LOC. Can anyone confirm this? It can take high (speaker-level) inputs at the flip of a switch on the amp. Thus, I will be purchasing a "wire-to-RCA" adaptor from JL Audio where I will plug in my RCAs. The question is where should I splice in? This amp will be for a pair of JL Audio 10W3v2 subs. I know of 2 locations: rear "subs" (wire from Bose amp to 6x9s) after the Bose amp, OR before Bose amp? Which is optimal? Lesser noise/hum/hiss... If I spliced into the rear subs, I'll only be getting a low-pass signal, correct? So if I wanted to preamp out of the 500/1 later on into another amp for components, I'd still wouldn't get a full-range signal? Does anyone have the link to the wiring diagram? It is a bit confusing.

3) Does the Bose amp have any effect on the navigation system? I'm asking because I don't want to lose the voice prmopts and "mute front speakers" feature when I install my new system. So this relates to my previous question about where to splice (in the case that the Bose amp affects this).

Thanks ahead!
