Sedan custom box anyone?

Ok before you coupe guys beat me up I am only wondering the demand for a sedan custom enclosure. We are focusing on finishing the coupe box first and filling those orders. After that we will have time for researching a sedan box. Let me know if an enclosure like the one we are building for the coupe would interest you. Pics of the coupe enclosure is located under "Latest pics of the coupe box."

I'm VERY interested in a Sedan custom box. Depending on price of course!!!! And will it fit a 12" or 10" woofer? I vote for one 12".

Oh yea, and don't different subs require different size boxes??? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not very stereo smart. I just know my Adire Shiva 12" requires a 2.3 cubic ft. box for optimal sound. But I would be interested in testing out a JL W7!!!!

Audio upgrades are on the radar but wheels/tires are probably next for me. That said I am interested in a custom sub box and your product shows a lot of promise. I love my tunes and could be persuaded. Damn, I am so weak.

Would this be a fiberglass box? I have a custom box for my 10w3v2, but it does take some trunk space, it would be nice to have it back.

Re: Sedan custom box anyone?

I need a new box for my 12" PPI sub. around 1 cu. ft would be nice. Similar to the coupe one but maybe on the other side, since there's tools on the left?

I currently have a custom one in this location but it's too big, not as stealth as I had wanted.

Your work looks good on the coupe so I'm definitely interested if it's in the right price range.

I will try to answer all the questions:
(1) The box will be made mainly out of fiberglass, similar the coupe.
(2) I will look at a sedan tonight and see what is possible as far as size.
(3) It will be around the same price as the coupe.

Ok, I looked at my neighboor's sedan. It has much more room on the pass. side corner than the coupe. It looks like a 12" would fit no problem. Or for those who want a larger 10" like the 10W7, this will work. Would everyone want a grill? Or no grill and save money? Carpet?

Re: Sedan custom box anyone?

since I don't frequent that thread.. how many cubic feet would that box be? Will the carpet match? How much more would a grill run?

These are questions that I do not have answers to now. It will be a few weeks until I can even research it further. The carpet will match though.

I'd like matching carpet and no grille... If you get this made and it looks good, expect me to be one of the first buyers.

Re: Sedan custom box anyone?

Definitely interested. What about a box on each side (driver and passenger) is that possible?

Re: Sedan custom box anyone?

I do not see any issue with doing both sides. I did notice they are not exactly the same. I want to measure both to ensure that both woofers are in the same air space.
