MB Quart, Directed Audio OK?

I listen to all kinds of music. I do not know a lot about car stereo, but I do like the sound of my system, which includes MB Quart tweeters, mids, and subs with a 5-channel Directed Audio 1300w amp. I don't see these brands mentioned here in this forum very often, so I'm not sure how y'all regard the quality of these items, compared to other [more popular?] brands. Anyone care to comment? Thank you.

I have two sets of MB Quarts in my sedan, and they sound great.

Directed Amps are great for the price! Plus Directed is a great company to deal with if you ever have a problem with their stuff. They are not as popular as others but they are one of the best low to mid end line. I would recommend them to anyone looking to save a little money.

Re: MB Quart, Directed Audio OK?

MB Quart used to be kind of the de-facto high end standard for tweeters, like JL is to subs. I see a little less about MB Quart these days..

I've never heard of those amps. Most people have never heard of my Crossfire gear either. But I've been very happy with it, stuff has worked very reliably over the past 4 years or so, so I have no intention of fixing something that isn't broke.
