I Hate Bose...

... So i have completely decided to do away with my factory Bose system because I actually enjoy small amounts of treble in my music rather than just midtones and bass. Anyway, this is what I have got so far...

Infinity Kappa 60.9cs 6.5 Inch Component Speakers for my front doors,

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=6703

Also Infinity Reference 6022si 6.5 Inch Coaxial Speakers for the rear doors,

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dZXuLsd...ce-6022si.html

Kenwood DDX512 Touch Screen Radio

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1199494465708

This is where your help is needed...
Im planning on powering my rear coaxial speakers through the radio unit, but I want to find a good 4 channel amplifier to power my front components, but also leave the option available to bridge 2 channels and power a subwoofer. This sub would be going in within the month.

Im looking into this amp as a possiblity...
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R475...5a.html?tp=115

SO, I need yalls opinion on a good amp and sub for this setup... Let me know!!!

are you looking to run your components ACTIVELY or PASSIVELY. because if you just want to amp your fronts the deck NEEDS to have a fully adjustable time alignment setting IF you want to utilize the 4 channel amp.
if you want to amp your fronts and rears that's basic. and I'd just go with a brand name 4 channel amp. infinitys are not big power mongers. but their highs are a lil tinny for my liking. I think you may be pleasantly surprised in the sound quality change just after you swap the deck.

if you are putting the kappas in the doors put them in the rear too. They have 6.5 coax kappas. Those infinity reference speakers suck.

I'll second or third the "stay away from the Infinity comps". They really lack mid bass and I think the highs aren't that great either. Also, price out a good multi-amp setup as well. You get better performance and more flexibility.

For Comps I like any of the following:
Rainbow
CDT
Diamond
Focal

For Coax they are all about the same, but I have a strong preference to Diamond.

Amp wise you will probably get different answers from everyone. For me:
Arc Audio
Memphis
Mmats
Audison
Zapco
Old Soundstream reference

Subs I prefer SQL:
SoundSplinter
Image Dynamics
Boston Acoustics

Do the older Bose systems have issues with trebble?
I had a competition Mephis audio system in my Maxima so I know what great trebble sounds like, and I have to say that the Bose system in my 08 has pretty damn good trebble....although it is lacking in rich bass.
