I had my Clarion MAX675VDII sitting around for about a year now, so I said to my self, self it's time to use that Clarion, and also update your amp (have a 4CH JBL). I have two 10's (Power Acoustik PW1-10L) in a Zenclosures box. I needed a sub amp for the 10's, so I ordered a Quantum Audio amp (QCA2000D - 2000 Watt Monoblock Amp http://www.quantumaudio.net/cozmikamp_2000d.htm)
but when I got it, it was to big of an amp, I need my trunk, so went looking again. I went with two Power Acoustik amps. A Power Acoustik BAMF-1800/2 & the Power Acoustik BAMF-1600/4 (out with the JBL amp) when I was done..MAN that she-it sounds GOOOD , had to pat myself on the back. I know this is long, but it's 11:34pm nothing to do. I don't like the "Bass/Level Remote that it came with, so I'm asking you guys can I use the "Phoenix Gold LPL-44" with the Power Acoustik BAMF-1800? Thanx for reading this.
Now I have to find someone to GIVE the Quantum amp too. O-well.

P.S. I have no pics right now, working on that.
Oo, don't the Power Acoustik BAMF amps look like the Rockford Fosgate Power series? or is just me.

 

Usually, bass control ***** only work with an amp of the same make, so I am willing to bet that the Phoenix Gold will not work with your Power Acoustik, even though they have the same connection.

It seems that the Power Acoustik amps are a knock off of the Rockfords, thats why they loook so similar.

 

I've had experience with mixing one up from the other before and it worked, could have been just my luck. Generally, if it's a bass **** and they have the same jack (looks like a telephone) it should work.

If you want to be positive, call Phoenix Gold.
