I dont have a navi in my 2005 coupe, and now i wish i had one..

i kno that its really difficult to add an oem navi..

does anyone have any clean pictures of their aftermarket navis and how much it cost?

 

Here is a post I made a while back showing my Alpine W505 install https://g35driver.com/forums/canada/...ht-change.html. This is a dual din unit, with NAV.

I really recommend the Alpine or Kenwood units. After seeing some of the problems friends have had with the new Pioneer F series, I'm glad I got this one. Also, the coolest part of the Alpine system is that you can acutally eject the NAV unit from the deck, and use it standalone (i.e. not just NAV in the car).

If you get the JDM DD kit, this unit will look amazing installed. When I took it to my Infiniti dealer for service, the mechanic thought it was a new Infiniti offered system.

 

nice.. where did u get the JDM DD kit? how much was the JDM DD kit?

also, how much was the whole thing installed?

 

My install including the NAV unit was around $1500. That includes bluetooth, blackbird (nav unit), iPod integration, steering wheel integration and bypass.

You can get the JDM DD kit from a few vendors on these forums. Riverside Infiniti (where I got mine) and Grubbs Performance both sell them, but there may be a bit of a wait time to get them.
