hey guys.. bought a tomtom 125 limited edition for $100. i havent used it yet, but was thinkin of returning it because im not sure i like the idea of havin a tiny gps with a charging cord hanging from it on my windshield.


any of you guys regret getting one and rather just get a headunit navi?

 

Do you have to use it everyday or can you just keep it for trips and such? Then you wouldn't have to have the cord there all the time.

I had a Magellan and I liked it but I didnt windshield mount it, I just kinda looked down at it when needed. Then during the summer I went DD and got the Garmin in my Kenwood and its way better. I gave my little navi away to the x.

thats the thing.. i was thinkin it would be useful, since i can carry it with me and use it in other cars, etc. i suppose it wouldnt need the cord to stay powered, but i dont want to open it and find out it does. lol

i rather get a dd navi though!
