question about charging an optima redtop battery?

I have read somewhere that you need a special charger to charge the optima redtop? is this true? what about using jump-cables to charge the redtop off another car?

Im looking to buy a optima redtop 34r for my g35x.

I have a yellow top and I just use a regular charger on normal setting, even though it has gel and deep cycle charging options.

Why are you worried about charging it? Just put it in the car and go. No special charging requirements for this battery.

I got my 34r on Amazon for $137 and free ship about 3 months ago. check them out.

you need a trickle charger

1 amp or so

some parts stores will do it for free, just make sure they put it on 1amp
