I'm about to buy this kit Neo Pro Link - PODNISV2 for my gf's car. I have a few questions:

1. Does the HU have a security code that I have to enter if I disconnect the negative battery cable? like some other car such as Lexus.
2. Will the HU removal instruction from "bradakrez" here in the forum works for 2004 model?
3. Is it worth it to buy the kit i mention above? or should i just buy the PAC unit instead? what is the pros/cons?
