Need help with Infinity Reference speakers

I'm upgrading my stereo after the Bose HU crapped out. I already installed a JDM AC controller and console and a Pioneer FH-P800BT...Love the Bluetooth and USB

I'll be installed the following in the next week or so:

Infinity Reference 5350 amp (5 channel 4 x 50 watts rms and 1 x 150 rms at 4 ohms)
Infinity 6020 cs 6.5" for the front door speakers
Infinity 6022i 6.5" for the rear speakers
Polk 10" db1040 sub (50-270 rms at 4 ohms)
1" spacers
Zenclosures single 10" box for the trunk
Dynamat Extreme

My question is how do I set up the crossovers for the Reference speakers?
The 6020cs has an option on the crossover to connect the tweeter at either 0db or -3db...which should I use? The rear 6022i also has the option for selecting 0db or +3db. You just click a little button on the speaker itself. Thanks for the help.

set tweeter to -3 3 on the infinitys otherwise they ring. for the rear go 0 but also listen to it. if you're missing high notes you should be hearing adjust accordingly

Just curious....why did you go with Infinity Reference amps and speakers?

Is there a way to return them?

The "Perfect" and Kappa series are good for Infinity speakers. The Reference line of speakers are not so hot(politely speaking) in terms of clarity and distortion despite being cost-effective.. The Reference amps are also cost-effective but not necessarily decent amps IMO.

If you can return the Reference stuff, go with the Perfect 6.1's up front, decent 6.5"s coaxials for the backseat side panels for rear fill(remembering that that speaker depth is pretty darn shallow; Kappas will not fit) and remove the rear shelf 6x9's if you are gonna sub the trunk.

You get what you pay for in terms of the quality of the References. They really aren't that good after comparing sound quality between the References, Kappas and the Perfects in the Infinity line. They aren't much better than the stock Nissan/Infiniti speakers....

I went with them because there are as many threads recommending them as there are against them. The "against" threads were mostly posted by you. Who should I believe? I don't know any of you. I came to the conclusion that they are good speakers for the money. They are not the most expensive, but they aren't the cheapest. I wanted a better than stock sounding system on a budget. Most of my money goes to maintaining my 466 rwhp Coupe I highly doubt my new setup won't sound any better than stock. By the way, you didn't post an answer to my question. Thanks for the advice anyway.

read the second post. I suggested a setup that shouldn't be too bad
