GPS Interest

Just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in getting a group buy going on this GPS system. Its nice that it has AV inputs for external devices. I will be getting one next week to test out and just wanted to see what the interest on the board is for it?

Price is as follows:
1-10 buyers : $800
over 10 buyers: $750

the system includes- 256 CF memory card, all the maps for North America(U.S. and Canada), mounting kit, gps system, car power adapter, and gps antenna.

Re: GPS Interest

no thanks, looks like a crappy system.... i mean it looks nice but i doubt the mapping software is reliable... If i were to go with a portable system, i would go with any of Garmin's color-screen units, including their sweet PDA... (i miss mine SO much!)

Re: GPS Interest

Toying with various products on the side for my own business, I know that this unit is not going to be very good. I've seen that unit for sometime now from overseas, and it just doesn't seem to be the best.

I know that packaging too... As a matter of fact, I have a sample LCD screen here. Not the best...

Re: GPS Interest

i concur. Garmin is hands-down #1
Interface, accuracy, and map-data are the best with Garmin, in my opinion.

Re: GPS Interest

I have been very happy with my garmin ique 3600. Its just one of those systems where everything makes sense. Never have to ask, "why didnt' they do it like this?".

Now as far as my nav in my car goes I always ask, "why didnt they do this like my PDA GPS?".

Re: GPS Interest

YAH! ME TOO!!!! I have the avic-n1 now and sold my ique.... heh, looks like that couple month delay in release of the iQue really did it some good. The only issues i had were battery draining issues.... other than that, its the perfect PDA
