i found some ranging from $65- $99. is there diffrent ones? or all the same just diffrent prices.

 

just check the version number - as long as you see that NIS2 (not NIS) you're good to go. you can get them on ebay for around $65 or from PAC and others for up to $99...all the same product.

ok, this is confusing i know...but follow me here. USA Spec and PAC really try to confuse us with there similar model #s.

so here are the current models of both:
PAC Model # AAI-NIS2
USA Spec Model # PAII-NIS

now, the previous version of the PAC unit was PAC Model #AAI-NIS (even more confusing, huh?). it was replaced by the AAI-NIS2 - note the "2" at the end. you still find some of the older models (that had problems) on eBay and online.

so what i meant by my statement was make sure your PAC has the "2" at the end - meaning the newer model.

now the PAC (AAI-NIS2) being better then the USA Spec (PAII-NIS) is a different story. each have their own pros and cons - as you can see on the chart on my site. they basically accomplish the same thing - go with what fits your needs best.
