search. I'm not trying to be rude, but this topic has been asked several times and searching will yield you many results, some with pics as well.

for him yes because its so low it will hit the shifter if its in Park.
For those with the 6speed manual tranny...it will clear just fine

), but i dont wnana sacrifice my 6 disk in dash.... 6 already isnt enough for me. i want like a 25 disk in dash or something

How about you just get a player that plays "mp3" cd's....you can fit over 150 songs on 1 cd.....

I did not buy the OEM nav unit because I knew that I wanted this as my "toy" car, and would not use it for any trips long enough to justify the $2k. I did buy a Magellan RoadMate though that can go from car to car with ease. It came with a suction cup arm that attaches to the windshield that works ok, but then to my surprise I found that the unit fits nice and snug in the cubby, and will not slip out. In there it is much less visible to entice thieves but the cord does hang down, and is ugly. The surprise was that the unit could "see" the satellites through the fiberglass lid with the antenna folded down. The reception meter did show it received at only a 1 out of 4 strength, but that doesn't seem to lessen its effectiveness as far as I can see.
The unit has a really easy interface and is said to be much more intuitive than the competing Garmin unit. I got the model 700, which has a 20G harddrive that has a map of the entire US contained in it.
The best price I found on the net was @

for $1059 with a $50 rebate making it $1009.
