i have a 05 copue with factory nav. while installing my double din i accidently hooked the wrong wire to the white/green vss wire in radio harness. didnt realize it till i smelt a funny odor, lol. now the issue i have is, my factory nav is not following the cars location. also noticed i can input destination on nav while the car is driving. prior to me scewing someething up i can only program nav when i was stopped. my question is where is the module that controls the vss? my speedo still works, i know i fried something cause i smelt it. where should i look, thanks joe

 

from what i am reading the radio and nav get the signal from the cluster. anyone know if this is correct?

 

do u have warranty still? put back everything together and go to the dealer

 

my luck 3 months out of factory warranty. i have a extended with at 500 deductable. i have a spare cluster, i will swap it and see what happens.

 

problem solved, changed cluster, and all is ok. now just gotta find out how to add 20k to the cluster,

 

just remember to add 20k

 

exactly the guys around here want too much, i will pass by the dealer and see what they will charge. im not doing nothig illegal.....adding
