I have a 2004 G35x and the drivers side speakers keep cutting out. if i give the side of the factroy cd player a little smack they come back on. could this just be a loose wire? any ideas thanks

 

Doubt it's a loose wire since the factory harness is usually very secure. Has the radio ever been out of the dash? Do the front and rear cut out or is it just the front? If it's the whole right side I would say that it's most likely something with the balance control in the radio.

Also if you hit the breaks hard it will correct itself. Maybe one day someone ballsy enough will tear the stock HU apart and find out what actually causes this.

People with warranties only get the HU replaced and thats it, they still have problems with those ones too.
