Hey just got my coupe today, radio and everything works but when i put a cd in it tries to read it then says cd error, these are not burned cd's bought new at hmv. what could the problem be? simply the cd player is broken?

Sounds like the CD player is shot! Some of the Clarion CD decks are famous for being faulty. I've replaced mine.
