Need HELP!! JDM A/C controller issue...

I already searched can't quite figure this one out:

So i did the dual button mod and everything on my JDM (2006 Gx) and installed the F90bt, JDM a/c controller worked fine, F90bt worked as well.

I decided to upgrade to the DNX8120, so I rewired the metra 7551 harness to the kenwood harnesses, etc, and I installed it into the JDM bracket and with the A/C controller.

Now, the A/C controller is NOT working (kenwood works fine): it's stuck at 75 degrees both sides with the driver's side pointing at the feet... NONE of the JDM buttons do anything except the defroster -- and i can hear the relay clicking in the background.

Also -- the lights on the JDM will light up just fine --

Anyone know why this is happening?

Oh, I put all my stock stuff back in (thinking i fried something big) and everything works flawlessly -- factory stereo, factory A/C controller.. everything works fine..

help!

Ok -- so i fried my first AC Controller (had Grubbs overnight me a new one -- had to shell out another $200)

DO NOT DO WHAT I DID .. i'm a complete idiot, i forgot to disconnect the negative battery terminal prior to my installation and i basically zapped the board when i plugged it back in.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS TAKE THAT TERMINAL OFF! then do yer electrical work -- then reconnect.

Thanks for listening.

did you have the car on when you plugged it back in?
I've installed probably thousands of radios without disconnecting the battery.

If you removed the plastic panel under the steering wheel, make sure the cabin temperature sensor is plugged in.
