Question about PAC install

Hey I was thinking about getting the PAC adapter so I can use my iPod in my coupe. But I'm kinda confused about how to make it so that I can use my steering wheel controls. Do I need to buy something extra? Or does is that feature included in the unit. Also when you finish all the installations and connect the iPod, does the display show the name and info about the song that’s playing? Thanks for the help.

Re: Question about PAC install

Dragon,
The PAC unit only gives you the ability to connect 2 aux sound sources to your headunit using the SAT button. It does not give you a special iPod interface. The PAC unit will allow you to connect another module called the SWI-X which allows some certain Infra-Red units to be controlled through the steering wheel controls - But it wont work for the iPod.

Basically - the PAC unit allows the sound to come through. If you are looking for the iPod to be controlled through the stereo somehow, you will have to be patient and wait for some other product to be developed... If at all.

Thanks.
