Lightbulb So tried the PAC AAI-NIS2...to no avail...

So I ordered the PAC AAI-NIS2 from Apex Suppliers, who by the way did a phenomonal job taking care of me, about a week ago. Once I got it I installed it into my 2005 G35 coupe, which I verified would work with the PAC unit. Got everything hooked back up, reconnected and such. Turned it on, got the SR1 and SR2 on the radio and figuring I was good to go I connected my IPOD to it and hit play. Annnnd then Mr. Murphy decided to poke his head in there, nope not gonna happen. It was playing the music, but all I was getting was the Mid-range. No vocals, no bass just mids. Weird, so I replaced the RCA to Mini cable...same thing....hmmm. Well I emailed PAC asking them, and to me they said its a defaulty unit and contact whoever you purchased it from to get another one. Sounded good, I contacted Apex Suppliers, who again did a fantastic job, and they got me set up with a RA# and shipped me the new one. Well long story short, I got the new one and the exact same thing. Called PAC this time, and he wasn't sure at all what was going on. He suggested that the Sat Radio plug on the back was malfunctioning, which sounds like a good explanation because the chances of two having the same thing wrong are low. So I am returning the unit back to Apex suppliers and I guess I have to live with MP3 CDs until I replace it with a DD later this year. *sigh* Thank you Mr Murphy!

Anybody have this issue before? Heard of it?

Thanks,
Adam

Thats been a good unit. Did you try another MP3 Player on it to rule things out? It does sound like its on the radio end but being sure would be nice. I use one with my nano, zune and iPhone and they all do great and bring the radio to life.

Btw, I hear that riverside is out of them, but anybody recommend a good place to purchase the DD kit and JDM AC unit? Think I'm going with the Pioneer 4100Dvd.....I can get a really good price on it..
