Kenwood Excelon DNX9140 w/ Pics!
Hey guys this is a follow up to my thread i made about which head unit to purchase a few days back and i decided on buying this one which was available last Tuesday. Anyways, all i have to say about this unit is WOW! From how nice and snug it fits to the screen resolution i have never seen anything like it! Ive had it installed since Saturday and i cant stop wanting to drive my G every opportunity i get! Load time i have noticed is about 10 seconds or so which from what i hear is also very fast. The navigation is flawless from what i have seen since playing around with it and it comes from Garmin. Watching movies on this thing is seriously HD status and it sounds like i have an imax surround sound going on. Bluetooth is also pretty good for using an iphone 3g which did i mention this unit also charges it when plugged into the ipod cable? Overall i must say i am EXTREMELY pleased with this setup and am proud to be the first G with it! If you have any questions feel free to ask or if you want different pics just say so!
Here are some pics!

Haha out of the box the head unit changes randomly to 8 different colors and it just happen to be on purple at time of picture.
As for voice recognition it's a great feature just tricky to learn because you have to say the right command for it to actually do something, which I don't know any yet other than the obvious like iPod, navigation or saying DVD. It's a pretty nice feature I'd say.

Great unit, I've always loved the specs on the 9140, especially that big hi res screen.

Looks pretty nice! Interface looks the same as my 7140, except the buttons on the source select screen and top menu have a 3D look to them. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've only been using mine for about a week now and I'm still playing around with it. I definitely like the improvements over the 8120, especially the shorter boot-up time.
You can find a pic here. That's a pic of the 7140 but the interface is the same.
