Possible to install 2K6 OEM Bluetooth on 2K5?

Didn't find any answers on the search function so here goes:

I want to look into the possibility of installing the OEM 2K6 bluetooth option on my 2K5 G35 with the Bose system.

Right now I have the Parrot MKI 9200 hooked up with the Quick Connect QCHBB-NI so it bypasses the Bose source and goes straight to the amp.
This works ok for the phone function, but the ipod audio just isn't good enough so I'm looking into the possibility of an OEM bluetooth system and a different hookup for the ipod.

Does anyone have any info on what exactly the OEM 2K6 bluetooth option consists of and if it's compatible with my setup?

your setup is probably better than the OEM setup.
IT doesn't stream audio through bluetooth. I would just get an oem ipod adapter or pac or usa spec and be done with it.

streaming isnt too important to me as I don't have rapshody or anything like that...if thats what you mean

I got the parrot to give the graphic ipod interface, but the audio sucks. I've heard that the oem nissan adapter is the only one that let's you keep the ipod wheel active as well as steering wheel controls etc, so I'm looking into that

Download the latest update for the MKi9200. Mine iPhone plays great after the update. The update installs from a USB dongle - eazy peazy

by streaming he meant playing music through bluetooth, and since the OEM doesn't do it anyways there is zero reasons for you to go to OEM from what you have

Did that a while ago. helped a little, but not enough. Play an mp3 off a cd and then compare the same track off you ipod/parrot....guarantee you the the ipod distorts way earlier

If the OEM bluetooh for the phone sucks then there's no point. guess the best thing to do is use the parrot for the phone only and go with the OEM or PX AMG route for the ipod....seems like that's as good as it gets until I get a new car
