So I just installed one of the JBL GTO 938 speakers in the rear deck and, like you all said, the bass is really weak. Almost non-existant. I instantly came inside and looked up links some of you gave me http://www.woofersetc.com/p-10394-cl...ubwoofers.aspx and I was thinking about ordering those woofers. But after reading bsowhats and wrathernauts comments regarding the lack of power from the stock amp it may not even be worth it. I guess the only good thing is that I bet the deck woudnt rattle tho with these woofers alongside the stock amp considering the lack of power coming from the amp. I think I got to suck it up and just finish this project up. Maybe I will just listen to talk radio and sports.

Dammn eggyhustles that is pretty pumped. Unfortunately, I won't be able to totally Bassify my car like that tho. So those CL-69SUB/CF 6x9's wont really give me much more thump than the JBL 938's considering I would be using the stock amp for both?

Nope.

They'll be a complete waste of money.

Eggy...are those 10"s or 12"s? I have a set of Diamond Audio subs that are waiting for a car. I have been wondering if the coupe trunk can take 2 12"s and still have room for bags. Your setup makes me very optomistic

As long as u can make the subs fit behind the seat, you're good.

Using the stock amp for anything is a waste of time.

maybe one 12 will work. Unless someone has pic proof that 2 12"s can be mounted like Eggy's

A lot of subs won't work well infinite baffle.

Yes those can work

SPL - 86.5
Qms - 3.5
Qes - .60
Qts - .51
Fs - 33Hz
Vas - 22L
Bl - 21
Xmax - 24mm

Highish efficiency
lots of xmax
highish QTS

Those would be pretty good in IB
