Infiniti/Nissan Bose Systems

Hey guys, this is a great site, literally!! very mature and knowledgeable! The extent to which members here diagnose and answer an issue is quite amazing!

With all Infiniti/Nissan Bose systems, to tell if you have a premium system, is the indicator always the external amplifier?

If yes, is it safe to say that all premium Bose head units produce a balanced differential signal?

Lastly, anyone try or have an opinion on an Axxess - ADCT4 differential converter, it's relatively cheap $24 - 32?

It looks nice but would like to know if it does the job!

I believe that if you have a Bose System, then you have the premium sound package.

The Bose system is the premium system. Cars either have the Bose premium or the non-Bose stereo.

May amps can be connected to the Bose HU output by splicing cut RCA cables into the output and plugging the RCAs into the amp. See the sticky thread at the top of the AV section.

I should add that I have a 2002 G20. Have been scrolling the internet for how to install an after market amp to the Bose head unit. "balanced differntial" is not mentioned in other sites I've visited. I'd like to eliminate as much trial and error as possible before I start the install.

I've read every page in the sticky

This site has been the most informative. Great photo gallery. I may move up to a G35 one day!

Thanks guys!
