Question A/C and defroster won't work with my remote start

So I recently purchased a Python 991 w/ remote start and got the work done at the shop. The alarm is supposed to have an remote a/c and defroster option to turn either one of those on using the fob, but the shops said something like the climate control/cd player on the '04 Coupe (6 spd) conflicts with that feature. So it doesn't work.... Which I think somewhat defeats the purpose of having the remote start.

Does anyone know a fix to this?

remote a/c?

your a/c settings will basically be retained from what they were when you turned the vehicle off -- that's how i always had my remote starter set up. Your installer would have had to run power to the Accessory wire in order for the A/C-heater to work during remote startup.

I left the vehicle blasting full heat with the heated seat buttons depressed and i then shut the car off -- then the next time i remote started the car -- the heat would be blasting and the heated seats warming up.

As far as the a/c -- seems that you just need to find the defroster wire (12 volt heavy gauge wire) and tied in a SPDT relay to the aux output (defroster output) from the python brain and allow this to trigger your defroster on demand...
