I'm still confused about which one I should install on my car. currently i have these options, kicker s15L7 or JL audio 12W7. Which one would u pick for your coupe if you want some deep bass without sacrificing much of the sound quality?? please for ur suggestion, it'll be very helpful for me to decide

 

i really don't think you can put both of them in the same level, kicked is good quality but JL, in my opinion, stands in a different class.. if you want just bass, get kicker, but if you want clean bass with good sq, get JL... btw JL 12w7 would wake a whole neigborhood paired with the right amp..

Go with the JL. As stated earlier, I don't even think the Kicker is in the same class. I have a 10w7 and the bass is simply out of this world, and I can tune it to put out great sound quality. A 12w7, ,with the 1000/1 would probably shake your entire block.

 

This is an easy choice. JL W7.

No other sub is like it because of the patents on this sub. IMO, JL does more R&D than any other company out there. I belive the W7 has more patents than any other speaker.

I'm planning to go with a 10W7 wired to a JL 500/1 mono amp.

If you want your rearview mirror to fall off, get the 12W7 with the 1000/1 amp.

Let me tell you this, your bass should come from your subs, your midbass from your door speakers and highs from your tweets. Get Kicker solo baric subs, mb quart for the doors and add Phoenix Gold. Why settle for the rest when you can get the best on eBay!!!
