Thumbs down Why do my windows keep dropping down!?

I'll hit both windows to close by pulling the window button, and they'll be closing from one click. Then they reach the top, and drop back down, as if they hit something, and they didn't hit anything! I either have to hold pulling the button or keep pulling the button until they by luck finally close.

It's so annoying. Whats the problem here?

You need new window motor. go to Autozone they will order you a set for $200.00 with lifetime warranty. then you can give them your older window motor they will give you $40.00 back.. so your basically paying $160.00

or you can buy a used window motor.

Well my buddys G37. When he disconnected his battry to install intake. His windows went down lil by lil when he shut the door. So he lloked at the manual and it said window motor had to be reset. He did it himself. It says to retrain it again. Not
sure if it can be the same with our g35

Nah haven't disconnected. I think you just have to use the window once or something a couple times, and it re learns again?

This is just my windows acting up.

Na dont listen to any of these guys. Theres probably nothing wrong with your window motor. I had the exact same problem as you. The way i fixed it i had to do the window reset.. Takes about 10 min tops to do and it will fix your problem.

eay you're not alone. I've got the same issue, happens when the car's been sitting in the sun or just overall hot out. It'll roll up then go down bout half way. I thought it may have to do with my custom audio stuff, but yeah i'll have to ask the dealer about it.
