Just got done hooking it up to my and the sound isnt that great, Has a krackle to it. Anyone else have this problem??

 

I did mine last weekend and it's working like a champ. Check your RCA connections.

Well I put in a movie and it sounds great. I guess its just the CD part that doesnt sound as good. I called Pac audio and they said I might need a line booster.

 

Odd, mine is starting to do it too... Only on the 2nd input though...

 

I installed mine a month ago. I have to hooked up to a 2Ghz computer with a SB Audigy2 pci card and the sound is crystal clear. It sounds better than the CD player but that is probably due to the sound card. Anyways no crackling noise even at low volumes without the car started.... sweet product!!
