Brakes TOUCHSCREEN Headunit Help ... Need advice

I'm looking to buy a double-din touchscreen head-unit asap.
Head-unit guru's, please chime in...

Requirements:
- Looking for a CD/DVD/DVD-RW/DIVX, etc. compatible touchscreen
- No need for navi, I intend on getting a JDM DD and retaining stock navi
- Budget $550ish
- Full 7'', I don't like the screens that take away from the 7'' with other head unit controls. I want a clean looking screen, almost OEM-like.

Would be nice to find:
- Something iPhone friendly (ipod controls, and even bluetooth)
- In-dash CD Changer would be a great positive as well

If I don't get one with an in-dash cd changer... can someone direct me to some good, reasonably priced cd changers that I can store in my trunk?

There are 2 that I'm primarly looking at:
- http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVHP...ssi=0&tp=20217

I've had a hard time finding reviews for the avh-p6000 (which was my original choice), so I'm trying to do my reserach. If someone can share some input on either of these 2 head-units, or open my eyes to other possible units, any help would be greatly appreciated.

why would you want a CD changer when you have an ipod? I'd be amazed if they still made them. 2 years ago I spent a week trying to source one out for a client.

I suppose you make a valid point, I've just never fully utilized my iphone to become my audio center.

a lot of these headunits have a lot of expandable memory available. you can do what I do, buy a 10 dollar 4 gig usb key toss a bunch of music on there and you're set. If you decide to utilize your iPhone you really just need to look at what else you want to do with the deck, do you want superior sound - ie going to put amps and speakers in, do you want to watch movies - (there are some screens that don't which is dumb), what are your expectations for the deck to do beside be ipod friendly, inexpensive, 7" screen and no navi?
It honestly took me 6 months to find a deck that suited my preferences. I finally got the Kenwood DDX8019. Only deck with 5 volt preout (for amps) that I found looked good performs well, and is fairly easy to work with. I'm not sure if kenwood is still doing the DDX line but you may want to look at them. The DNX line is the navigation decks

Go to www.wooferetc.com they have everything at a great price. I ordered my Focals from them and they are great. Check this screen out. http://www.woofersetc.com/p7598/AVHP...MP3-Player.htm
