Where would you guys mount the small plastic module that controls the Beltronics SmartCord? I'ts pretty small, I was thinking of cutting into the plastic trim piece around the shift boot to see if I cold get it to sit nice and flush below my hazard button.

I'm trying to avoid using the existing container where the ashtray normally would have gone, just to the left of the hazard button...

BUMP! Where are you guys mounting the control module?

 

I have an Escort stealthcord & I have mine ran under the carpet sitting to the left of the drivers seat, with the control module only laying out... I can reach it with my left hand to mute. I believe some people have mounted theirs in the ash tray, which is probably where I will relocate mine when I do my double din install
