blendmount/invisicord install

I ordered a bv1 hinge for my valentine1 and a bbe for my passport escort 8500 x50 on Thursday, 9/10/09. To my surprise I received a package from MGT Motorsports on Saturday, 9/12/09. The items were processed and shipped the day of the order and arrived in Maryland from California in less than three days. All I can say is that it is very difficult to find this kind of professional customer service in the automotive accessory industry. Thank you Frank.

The fit, finish, and level of engineering is beyond excellent and the forethought to include spare parts, tiny black zip ties and installation tools is more than can be expected. I couldn’t be any more pleased with the quality of the product.

I was familiar with the item and didn’t need the instructions for install, but an illustrated step by step leaflet specific to the particular mounts ordered, was included in the shipment. They were complete and easy to follow and would be very helpful if needed. The installation itself took me 10 minutes on average for both my G37 and Explorer. A large part of this time was spent aligning the mirror while keeping the radar detector level and straight. The pics of the shipment and install are posted below.

The V1 is hardwired to the Homelink mirror with an invisicord (black lead to black ground, yellow lead to brown power source)

The shims supplied for smaller diameter mirror stalks was not needed.
