If you have the Bose system, follow the sticky thread that tells you how to add a sub to your car. You don't need an LOC if you connect the audio signal before it enters the Bose amp.

What year? Unless using a speaker level converter you may need to go with a balance receiver due to the head unit having low level balance outputs to the stock Bose amp.Originally Posted by jhath

It's a 2006. The rear speakers are in the doors not on the back deck above the trunk. The guy at best buy told me I would have to connect the LOC to the back of the Bose head unit. Any idea where he's talking or even know how to take the hu out?? Lol

Don't believe the Best Buy guy. The people on this board know what works with the G, not Best Buy. All the wires you need are in the trunk, not behind the head unit.
Follow the sticky about adding a sub to your Bose equipped sedan.
ya i looked at the sticky about adding a sub to your bose equipped sedan and it still shows towards the end locating the stock sub and amp in the trunk to connect the LOC. My sedan doesnt have one there. There is nothing in the trunk..Should i take a picture so you could see?

It says "Bose" on the radio and there is a big grille in the center of the rear shelf that says "Bose" on it.

You don't have the Bose system. That's why you don't find the amp in the trunk.
In your case, the best Buy guy was right. You need an LOC to tap into the audio signal either behind the HU or at the rear speakers.
